What is CBD?
CBD stands for Cannabidiol. It was first discovered after being isolated from the cannabis plant in 1940. It’s the most medically beneficial non-psychoactive component of the cannabis plant, also known as Hemp plant. Consuming CBD has been shown to provide wide health benefits without getting the user high or “stoned”, as opposed to using THC.
According to a report from the World Health Organization, “In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential…. To date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.”
